Megan Sandilands graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2012 with a B.A in advertising and public relations. She is currently back in school getting her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

She discovered her true calling was exercise and fitness through her own personal story. Back in 2006 Megan was told she was in the 99% to develop diabetes. From that day forward, she began a weight loss journey that would lead her to ultimately lose over 130 pounds. She has appeared in a weight loss DVD led by Kim Lyons, a former personal trainer from NBC’s The Biggest Loser. Megan credits a lot of her weight loss to what she learned about exercise from being a member of track and field for three years during her journey. She was a three-time shot put state sectional thrower and frequently returns to her high school along with York High School to talk to the students about health and lead them in workouts.

Megan is a certified personal trainer through ACE, the American Council of Exercise and is also certified an ACE certified weight management specialist. Megan’s passions include motivating others to commit to weight loss or a healthier lifestyle for lifelong results.
