“Failure isn’t falling down, it’s remaining where you’ve fallen.”

I’m in a rut.  It’s that time of the year when I start feeling bad about myself.  The hard work I put in for a “summer body” is long gone.  The dreaded holidays are coming; the over-eating, drinking, and excessive indulging. I’ve slipped and fallen into an “Antonette pity party” and I’ll invite all who will listen.

We all have these days—sometimes even weeks.  Life gets in the way.  Our kids take us to the edge of patience.  We worry.  We stress.  We put others before ourselves.  We drink wine….

There are days I walk into work and wonder how I find the strength to motivate others, yet can’t find a single ounce of energy to motivate myself.  But then the magic happens.  The people I surround myself with on a daily basis remind me that it’s ok.  It’s ok to fall into a rut, because there will be dozens of people who always have each others’ backs, offering support and encouragement at every turn. The FITT atmosphere radiates positivity and immediately puts things into perspective. We all have good days.  We all have bad days.  The important thing is that none of us give up.  We push through.  We sweat.  We laugh.  We leave the studio feeling accomplished, positive, mentally stronger. No one quits, we stand strong together.

We all take turns falling into our own personal ruts. But we always stand back up after we fall. This is the greatest “family” I have ever known. The greatest support system I have ever known. Every single person here will embrace you, challenge you and always have your back.  I am so thankful and fortunate to know each and every one of you.  Whether you realize it or not, you have all impacted my life and have kept pulling me out of the ruts of life. Thank you.

So worried about the holidays? In your own rut?  Worry no more. Let’s all get ahead of the game together.  There is no need for New Year’s resolutions, because every single day is a NEW DAY.  Seize it. Seize it with your FITT Family.
